In 2008, the committee focused their efforts to assist the organizations below:

CMN is a year-round fundraising program to benefit hospitals providing health care for children. Created by the Osmond Foundation in 1983, the Children's Miracle Network has grown to include 170 hospitals throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.  In Columbia, the University of Missouri’s Children’s Hospital is the only hospital in mid-Missouri offering comprehensive, specialized children’s services.

United Way is a partnership of volunteers, donors, businesses and service providers who come together with common goals - to build strong families, help kids succeed and promote health and independence.  In fact, over 100,000 mid-Missourians use services provided by 32 United Way member agencies each year. That’s 1 in 5 people in our area.

United Way of Central Missouri

The United Way of Central Missouri assists our neighbors in six counties through a broad range of human care services.  A total of 25 member agencies and programs offer a variety of services to children and adults; the disabled; senior citizens; low-income families; victims of abuse, disease or disaster; and others in need.
