How to Login to MCU@Home - On-Line Security Feature
Section 1 - MCU@Home Login

Change Password (Temporary Password) screen
You must change the temporary password you used to access this account at this time. Your password may be between 4 and 8 characters in length; may contain the following special characters:

Enter your NEW password
Enter your NEW password again
SelectContinue.
Section 2 - MCU@Home Initial Setup
The security for this site includes a layer of protection that lets you know you are accessing the intended website. The registration process is simple and takes only a short time to complete.
This section will verify your computer before beginning the setup.
Step 1. Authorize this computer
Step 2. Verify computer authorization
Step 3. Complete a simple questionnaire
Step 4. Log in
Select Continue to begin the verification.
When your computer has been authorized you will see the following status.
Step 1. Receive computer authorization Status: Completed
Step 2. Verify computer authorization Status: Completed
Step 3. Complete a simple questionnaire Status: Pending
Step 4. Log in
Select Continue to go to the questionnaire.
Complete the Questionnaire to finalize your initial setup.
Enter a Secondary Password (required):
The secondary password is your way of logging into your account even when you do not have access to your authenticated computer. In a situation where you are at an un-authenticated computer, you will be given the opportunity to submit the secondary password. If submitted correctly you will be able to continue with your login. Please use 6-8 alphanumeric characters (a-z and/or 0-9).Re-Type Secondary Password (required):
This is needed to make sure you do not accidentally miss-type your secondary password. Typing it twice ensures that the password was typed correctly. Please use the same 6-8 alphanumeric characters (a-z and/or 0-9).Enter a Password Reminder (required):
Because you will rarely need to submit your secondary password, it is possible that you might forget it. The password reminder allows you to give yourself a note that will help you and only you to remember the secondary password.
Note: This reminder should never be so obvious that anyone could guess it.Enter a Site Verification Phrase (required):
The verification phrase is a message that you will see each time you attempt to login. The message will only be displayed after you have typed in your account number and only if you are logging in from an authenticated computer. In you login from an authenticated computer and you do not see the message, it could indicate that you are logging into a malicious site.Enter your Email Address (optional):
This should be your email address. In the event that you login from a non-authenticated computer and cannot remember your secondary password, you can request that a temporary one-time access key be sent to your email. In addition, if you would like to receive an email each time there is a login into your account, this email is also needed.Enter a Cell Phone or Pager Number (optional):
This should be your cell phone number. In the event that you login from a non-authenticated computer and cannot remember your secondary password, you can request that a temporary one-time access key be sent to your cell phone via a text message. In addition, if you would like to receive a text message each time there is a login into your account, this number is also needed.Cell Phone or Pager Carrier (optional):
Every cell phone has a cell phone carrier. This is who you purchased your service plan through. Simply select your carrier from the list provided.
Continue with your login to finalize your initial setup.
Your configuration changes have been saved.
To continue with your login, click the "Login" button.
Select the Login button to continue
Section 3 – Login from an Authenticated Computer

When logging in using an authenticated computer you will see the Verification Phrase you created during the Initial Setup.
Verification Phrase: (your verification phrase will appear here)
You should see this phrase whenever you log in from an authenticated computer.

Section 4 – Login from an Unauthenticated Computer

Section 5 – Set Up the Password Reset Request
This is where you will enter information for us to verify with you if you forget your password and we are not open. You will be asked to select a security question, type the answer to the security question & then type your secured e-mail address. Then click Continue.
Section 6 – Change Your Password
(Use Only When You Need to Change It)
- Once you have reached the Account Summary, you'll notice light blue menu items across the top of your screen. Under the Self-Service menu, select Change mcu@home Password.
- Instructions will display to direct you to change your password.
